Permanent Confidence Doesn’t Exist

Founder, Authentic Transformation Academy & KrisP. Production

Recently, one of my students came to me with a request:

“I want to completely erase this feeling of insecurity. Every time I step on stage, my heart races, my palms sweat, I get nervous and scared. I just want to always feel confident, on stage and in life.”

Maybe it will shock you but I want to share something important. Permanent confidence does not exist. Confidence that never fades, never shakes, never leaves us, is not real.

Nothing in this world is constant. Everything changes, our energy, our emotions, our sense of self. The sooner we accept this, the closer we come to our true selves.

Just notice how your body reacts when you read this. Life and nature are cyclical. Everything moves, transforms, flows. There are no straight lines in nature, and it is the same with confidence.

Sometimes we feel strong, centered, and in tune with ourselves. Other times we feel small, disconnected, anxious, or doubtful. Our voice trembles, our hands shake, our body refuses to cooperate. And that is okay. That is life. That is you.

The goal is not to eliminate fear forever. The goal is to find strength within it, to stay connected to yourself even when your knees are shaking. To accept yourself completely, not only the beautiful and confident parts, but also the messy, insecure, imperfect ones.

Maybe you hide something about yourself, your voice, your body, your emotions. Maybe you think you are too much, or not enough. Maybe you fear that one day people will find out you are an impostor, that you don’t really know enough or aren’t as capable as you seem.

But the truth is, your wholeness lives in those hidden parts. When you accept them, you become complete. Energy begins to flow through you again, and people can feel it. The world does not need you to be perfect. It needs you to be real.

Confidence is not the absence of fear. It is your ability to walk on stage with fear, with trembling hands, and still show up. To turn that energy into fuel instead of resistance.
Even after twenty years of performing, my palms still sweat and my heart still races. But I no longer fight it. I work with it.

That is what real confidence feels like. Not stability, but trust. Trust that you can handle whatever comes, and that every version of you deserves love and acceptance.

Another question is how do we manage it.

We have prepared a set of simple, practical exercises that can become your personal warm-up before going on stage, at an interview, at a networking event, on a date, or in any situation where you need to connect and express yourself authentically.

These tools are designed to help you channel nervous energy into focus and presence, to make your body, voice, and emotions your allies rather than your obstacles.

Our new online masterclass on overcoming stage fear and working with body and voice will be available by the end of this year. If you would like to receive details, the release date, a link to join, and a special early registration rate available until November 1, you can

Real confidence is not perfection.

It is presence, self-trust, and the courage to be seen, trembling hands and all.
