Pre-Clown: Creative exploration through Imagination, Movement, and Play Join us for an exhilarating journey into the world of clowning with Eugene Ma, a Drama Desk-nominated acting teacher and interdisciplinary theater-maker. Drawing from the renowned clown pedagogy of master teacher Christopher Bayes, this workshop promises to ignite your creativity, open your heart, and unleash your playful spirit. What to Expect: • Dive into pre-clown exercises to reconnect with your childlike wonder and embrace physical play. • Learn techniques to dissolve social conditioning and tap into authentic expression. • Cultivate generosity, honesty, and mischief to enrich your performances. • Experience laughter, tears, and moments of profound silliness as you explore the depths of your imagination. Who Should Attend: Performers and non-performers alike, ages 18 and above, seeking to expand their comfort zones, rediscover spontaneity, and cultivate radical empathy. 🗓️ 2 weekends: June 1-2, 8-9 ⏰ Total 24 hours of immersive exploration 10.30am- 5.45 pm (1.30-2.30pm - lunch break) 💰 Course Fee: S$1320 💚 Early bird S$1200 before May 15th 💚 ❣️ Class commences when there is a min. sign up of 4 pax.
